Welcome to the UNVEIL Podcast — where we unlearn old beliefs, embrace growth, question the status quo, and have authentic conversations about identity, intuition, culture and the matrix. Hosted by sisters Damaris and Nachi, this podcast was created from a genuine desire to connect, uplift, and laugh through the beautiful chaos of being first-generation Dominican Americans. We share unfiltered stories, heartfelt conversations, and the moments that shape who we are — all with love, humor, and a touch of Caribbean flair. Together, we’re creating space for our community to thrive, not just survive.
Our Story
Our journey began in 2022 when we, sisters Damaris and Nachi, decided to create something deeply personal — a podcast that reflected our real lives and shared experiences. With Damaris’s 15+ years as a digital strategist and Nachi’s passion for self-development, we set out to build a space that felt honest, healing, and true to who we are. After losing our father and navigating the push and pull of two cultures, we realized how much we needed conversations that spoke to growth, identity, and spirituality — the kind that remind you you’re not alone.
Even knowing the podcast world was crowded, we trusted that our stories were our strength. Growing up in the Bronx with bold Dominican parents taught us that blending two cultures can be messy, beautiful, and full of lessons. We learned that embracing both sides of ourselves isn’t just our story — it’s our mission to help others do the same.
And in November 2025, that mission evolved again. After two years of deep conversations, healing moments, and community growth, we realized our original name didn't fully encapsulate what we were creating. So we made a bold shift and reintroduced our podcast as UNVEIL — a name that reflects the peeling back of layers, the unlearning of old narratives, and the intuitive journey we’ve been sharing with you all along.
This evolution isn’t a departure. It’s a continuation of our story — one rooted in truth, identity, and the desire to build a space where our community feels seen, supported, and empowered.
Our Mission
At UNVEIL Podcast, we’re here to uplift our community — especially those of Caribbean descent and first-generation Americans — as we navigate life’s real, unfiltered moments while staying rooted in who we are. Our episodes dive into everything from grief and mental health to spirituality, entrepreneurship, and the everyday lessons that shape us. Through honest conversations and shared growth, we hope our stories remind you that you’re not alone in the journey.

As sisters, we’ve always shared a deep connection, but the bond has grown even stronger through this podcasting journey. We are both passionate about creating content that matters, content that can positively impact the lives of others. Whether we're talking about our parents' immigrant journey, navigating grief, or discussing how we’ve built our own businesses, we hope our stories help others feel less alone and more empowered to step into their own power.
